Tropics is a software complex for modeling the trajectories of motion of fast charged particles in axial and planar channels of crystal working under operating systems Windows and Linux. The complex is easily extensible by plug-ins. It can work in a graphical mode and in a console mode for easy embedding into other programs. The complex has a large number of opportunities and options. For plotting graphics, the MathGL library (http://mathgl.sf.net/) is used.
The library provides a way of saving graphic images in the known raster and vector formats. The console part allows simulation in a console mode. General functions were allocated in a separate library which is written entirely in C++ and parallelized by OpenMP. A graphic component of the complex is based on the graphic library Qt. The complex is registered, completely free and uses the GPL license.

The software complex ia available on the site http://tropics.sf.net.
